A recent report showed that approximately half the Chambers are growing and half are steadily losing members. Whichever half you fall into, I encourage you to devote a
portion of every board meeting to next month's plan for increasing membership. This includes sharing referrals -- an important responsibility of each board
Chambers that continue to lose members focus on negatives instead of on taking positive action. Those we work with that are moving in the right direction take this proactive, problem-solving approach.
It's never easy but it's the only way to grow.
And remember . . . "You can never do too much for your members."
